Willis Reed played an important role in the Knicks' 1970s success, and in 1970 he became the first player in NBA history to be named the NBA All-Star Game MVP, the NBA regular season MVP and the NBA Playoff MVP in the same season. Voit brand manufactured white high top sneakers. "Custom Voit" logo is on the back of each sneaker. On the outer ankle of the left shoe in black marker is "Willis Size 14 1/2." Both sneakers are autographed in blue pen and rate a 6. The shoes show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication. An additional LOA will be provided from famous restauranteur Thomas Rogers, Jr. stating "Willis Reed autographed a pair of sneakers he wore in the 1970 NBA Championship game and gave them to me to display in the Briefkase Pub."
