One the greatest defensive centers, HOFer Nate Thurmond's jersey number 42 has been retired by the Warriors and Cavaliers. On October 18, 1974 against the Atlanta Hawks in his debut as a Chicago Bull, he recorded 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists and 12 blocked shots to become the first player in NBA history to record a quadruple-double. An almost impossible-to-find piece of this top 50 player, on the inside collar of the jacket is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's exclusive tag. Inside the front tail of the jacket is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturers wash size 44 tag. Across the front of the jacket is "CHICAGO" in red on black heavy vinyl lettering. On the front left is the player number "42" in same lettering. On the back of the jacket is the player name "THURMOND" in the same heavy vinyl lettering. Below this is the large "Bulls" team logo sewn on in white, red, and black heavy vinyl. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
