Herman Jesse Branson was a forward for the ABA's New Orleans Buccaneers for the 1967-1968 season. Playing in 78 games, he averaged 13.9 ppg in the regular season and 11.4 in the playoffs. On the back inside tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's size 42 tag. Next to this is another tag with the print washed out. Sewn next to that tag is the washing instructions tag. Across the front of the jersey is "BUCS." Below on the front and back is the player number "24." All lettering and numbering is done in white on red tackle twill. On the back inside waistband of the shorts is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's size 36 tag. Sewn next to that tag is the washing instructions tag. Two matching stirrups are included. The jersey, shorts, and stirrups show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
