A 6-foot-11-inch center from BYU, Jim Eakins played eight seasons in the ABA, winning an ABA Championship before moving on to the NBA. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's size 42 wash instructions tag. Attached below is another tag with "+4" typed on it. Across the front of the jersey is "CAPS." Below on the front and back is the player number "42." All lettering and numbering is done in green on white tackle twill. In the back waistband of the shorts is the "Wilson" manufacturer's size 34 wash instructions tag. Attached below is another blank tag. On the left leg is "CAPS" in green tackle twill. The jersey is autographed on the back number "4" with "Jumbo" added in black marker and rates an 8. The jersey and shorts show tremendous game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from James Spence Authentication.
