Playing professional basketball from 1971-1982, John Roche is one of three players in NBA history to hit 7 three-point field goals in a quarter, along with Henry James and Steve Smith. He was a three-time All-American and two-time MVP of the Atlantic Coast Conference while at the University of South Carolina. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's wash tag with the jersey size "42" on it. Above this tag is an additional tag, which reads "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Utah Stars." Across the front of the jersey is "STARS" in red and white screen print. Below that and on the back is the player number "11" in the same screen print. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
