The Kentucky Colonels finished the 1974-1975 ABA season in first place in the Eastern Division. Defeating the NY Nets, Memphis Sounds and St. Louis Spirits in the playoffs, the Colonels defeated the Indiana Pacers in a five-game finals to claim their only ABA Championship. This size 10-1/2 ring is cast in yellow gold. Around the top perimeter is "Kentucky Colonels" in relief and "19" and "75" engraved. Inside the top perimeter is a blue stone face with a synthetic diamond set in the center, around which is "World Champions" in relief. On the right shank, all in relief, are consecutive banners that are engraved "Kentucky 110, Indiana 105," "Freedom Hall," "Season 59-26," "Playoffs 12-3" and Pressure 22-3." On the left shank, all in relief, is a banner with "Rhodes" engraved, below which is the Colonels logo with a basketball in the center of the "C," below which is a banner with "Gene" engraved. "Jostens 10K" is stamped on the inside of the ring. Overall EXMT condition with light scratching.
