Straight outta Compton, "DJ" Dennis Johnson was the 1979 NBA Finals MVP after leading his Supersonics to victory over the Washington Bullets. One of the fiercest defensive players of his time, Johnson won two more NBA championships with the Celtics teams of the 1980s, teaming with greats Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Danny Ainge and Robert Parish. On the left front tail of this road knit jersey is the "Medalist Sand-Knit" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "44" on it. Above that is an additional manufacturer's exclusive tag that reads "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Boston Celtics." Across the front of the jersey is "CELTICS." Below that and on the back is the player number "3." Across the back of the jersey is "JOHNSON." All lettering and numbering is done in white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
