A 21-year veteran of the ABA and NBA, Moses Malone has played on an astounding 10 different teams in his professional career. At his retirement in 1995, Malone was the last and ABA participant to still be playing in the NBA. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's wash tag with the jersey size "48" on it. Above this tag is an additional tag, which reads "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Atlanta Hawks." Adjacent to the manufacturers tag is an additional manufacturer's embroidered tags with "89" and "3" L.B." on them. Across the front of the jersey is "HAWKS" in white tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "2" in red tackle twill. On the upper right breast is the embroidered official NBA logo. Across the back is "MALONE" in white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
