On the front left tail is the "Wilson" manufacturer's size "42" wash instructions tag. Below is the year "71" done in black chain stitch directly on the jersey. Across the front is
"ASTROS" in orange, navy blue, and white chenille. On the back is the player number "23" and the player name "LEMASTER" in orange on navy blue felt lettering. The name on back has been restored. The jersey shows game-use and besides the name on back being restored there appears to be no alterations of any kind.
