With 314 career wins, Gaylord Perry was one of the best of his time. He was awarded the Cy Young twice, one of which being 1978. On the left front tail is player number "36" and year "78" embroidered in white on a brown patch. The "Wilson" manufacturer's tag appears inside the back of the collar with wash instructions and jersey size "46." "SAN DIEGO PADRES" appears across the front. Below that and on the back is the player number "36." Player name "PERRY" is done on a brown nameplate on the back. All lettering and numbering is done in yellow tackle twill. The jersey is custom cut at the front of the collar. There is also a patch removed from the left sleeve. The jersey shows good game-use and except for the cut on the collar and the removed patch appears to have no alterations of any kind.
