Darryl Strawberry was one of the most talented and exciting hitters of the 1980s and 1990s. His angelic lefty stroke was one that could not be taught. This jersey comes from the Mets magical 1986 World Championship season. On the left front tail is the "W.A.Goodman&Sons" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions and jersey size "42." The number "1" is written on the tag in black marker indicating the set number. The team name "Mets" appears across the front. Below that and on the back is the player number "18." Player name "STRAWBERRY" appears across the back on a grey nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. The "Mets 25th ANNIVERSARY" patch appears on the left sleeve. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
