Lou Brock picked up where Maury Wills left off and took the speed game to a new level. He broke both of the greatest theft records, retiring as the all-time stolen base king. He was one of the greatest World Series performers ever, batting .391 in 21 games, with 34 hits and 14 steals for the Cardinals. His trade from the Cubs to the Cardinals is one of the most lopsided in baseball annals. On the inside right front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "40" and wash instructions. Attached is a flag tag, "SET 1 1977." Across the front is the official "Cardinals on a bat" logo and "Cardinals" in script embroidered in red, navy and gold. On the front right chest and on back is the player number "20" in red on navy blue tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "BROCK" sewn directly on the jersey in the same tackle twill. The jersey has a custom hemmed straight bottom from the factory. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
