Reginald Martinez Jackson was nicknamed "Mr. October" for his clutch hitting in the postseason. He played for five different teams from 1967 to 1987. He won 3 consecutive World Series titles as a member of the Oakland A's in the early 1970s and 2 additional titles with the New York Yankees in 1977 and 1978. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993. On the left front tail of the road jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers size 46 tag with wash instructions. Inside the back collar is an embroidered strip tag with "Jackson 80 2". Across the front is "NEW YORK." On the back is the player number "44". All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a black armband worn in remembrance of Elston Howard. The jersey is autographed in the collar in blue marker with "7/23/82" added and rates an 8. In the back inside waistband of the road pants is the "Wilson" manufacturers size 35 tag with wash instructions. Adjacent is an embroidered strip tag with "Jackson 80 2 24". The pants are autographed on the front waistband in blue marker with "7/23/82" added and rates an 8. The jersey and pants shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The uniform belt is also included. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
