Wynn was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. Widely known as a pitcher with a mean disposition, Wynn threw at batters frequently enough to be labeled a "headhunter." When asked if he would throw at his own grandmother, he said, "I'd have to. My grandma could really hit the curveball." On the left front tail of the jersey is the original "Wilson" manufacturers wash instructions size "38" tag, however the jersey appears to be much larger. Below is a felt strip tag with the year "1960" embroidered in black. In the collar is felt strip tag with the players name "WYNN" embroidered in black. On the front left chest is "SOX" in black on red rip cord. On the back and on the right sleeve is the player number "24" in red on rip cord. The jersey is autographed in blue marker on front and rates an 8. It shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
