Perhaps the greatest pure hitter of all-time, in 1946 Ted Williams led the Boston juggernaut to a huge lead (at one point 16 games ahead) and belted two All-Star-Game home runs at Fenway Park. Finishing the season with a .342 batting average, 38 homers and 123 RBI, he was named the A.L. MVP. He won it again in 1949 by leading the league in home runs (43) and a career-high 159 RBI. He also reached base in a record 84 consecutive games that year. MINT condition.
