Jackie Robinson's had hid most brilliant season in 1949; he was 30 years old, far older than most third year players in the history of the game. He peaked with a league leading .342 average and 37 stolen bases. He beat out the great Stan Musial, who hit .338 in 1949 and swept the MVP title. His 37 steals in 1949 not only led the majors but was the highest in the N.L. in 19 years. MINT condition.
