5" x 8" with "Baseball Writer's Association Official Score Book" printed on the cover, used by HOF sports writer Jack Lang to cover the inaugural 1962 season of the NY Mets. Spiral bound, Lang has scored every game in blue ink, names include Gil Hodges, Vinegar Bend Mizell, Joe Christopher, Felix Mantilla, HOFers Sandy Koufax and Richie Ashburn and many more. Several notations in the margins as well, a tremendous slice of baseball history! Overall EX condition with several creases and folds, an obviously well-used book with some rust on the spirals.
