Early in 1956, the Dodgers were invited by Matsutaro Shoriki, the "father of Japanese professional baseball," to make a trip to Japan following the regular season. The Dodgers were at the height of their popularity, having won their first World Series Championship in 1955 and soon they were off on the goodwill tour. This very rare 50 page program of that tour from Japan is entirely in Japanese and measures 5" x 7". Pictures and abundant information on the Dodger and Japanese players and the Brooklyn Bum on the back cover. All complete and tight, light surface wear, small stain on back cover, EXMT or better condition overall.
