In 1923, Yankee Stadium became "The House that Ruth Built." Over the course of the following fifty years, a NY Yankee tradition of winning would be created, ensuring that even after the Babe was gone, the fans would still pour in to see their Bronx Bombers. Their tickets were deposited into a box such as this, from the original Yankee Stadium. This "SPECIAL OFFICERS" box has a plaque on front that reads "Yankee Stadium The House That Ruth Built 50th Anniversary 1923-1973 Bronx NY." Above is a white Yankees sticker. It is painted light mint green and measures 16" x 13" x 11-1/2". This very rare item shows normal signs of Stadium use. This lot will be expensive to ship due to weight. Also included is an original blue Usher's cap. There is a pin in front with "YANKEE STADIUM" and the Usher's name, "CURCIO D." It is in excellent overall condition. This lot will be expensive to ship.
