This Spalding ONL (Giles) baseball has been signed in blue ballpoint by six incredible HOFers on the side panels: Ty Cobb, Lefty Gomez, Frank Frisch, Tris Speaker, Joe McCarthy and Paul Waner. Almost all contemporaries, Cobb played from 1905-1928 (inducted 1936), Gomez 1930-1943 (inducted 1972), Frisch 1919-1937 (inducted 1947), Speaker 1907-1928 (inducted 1937), McCarthy managed from 1926-1950 (inducted 1957) and Waner 1926-1945 (inducted 1952). A great cross-section of the early stars of the game! Also signed by Lou Brissie, who played for the Philadelphia Athletics and Cleveland Indians from 1947-1953. Ball shows some toning and spotting with signatures that all average a grade of 8. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
