Led by Babe Ruth, the American barnstormers played various Japanese high school and post collegiate teams. This Reach OAL (Harridge) baseball has been signed in black fountain pen by 16 including Babe Ruth (Yankees) on the sweet spot, Clint Brown (Indians), Rabbit Warstler (A's), Lou Gehrig (Yankees), Moe Berg (Nationals/Indians), Earl Averill (Indians), Chas Gehringer (Tigers), Jimmie Foxx (A's), manager Connie Mack, Lefty O'Doul (Giants), Lefty Gomez (Yankees), Earl Whitehill (Nationals), Frankie Hayes (A's), Eric McNair (A's) and two others. Ball is toned with some abrasions, with the Ruth, Foxx and Mack grading a 7 and the remainder averaging a 5 to 7. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
