English's style has been described as smooth and elegant. Not possessing the physical strength of his contemporaries, English instead relied on technique and finesse. These skills allowed him to place 11th on the NBA all-time scoring list as of July 2005 with 25,613 points. He was the first player ever to string together eight straight 2,000-point seasons. He has the distinction of being the top scorer in the 1980s. In the back collar of the jersey is the "Powers Mfg. Co." manufacturers tag with the jersey size "46" on it. Below this tag is the "Powers" tag with "3" L-B" on it. Across the front is "NUGGETS" done in yellow on blue tackle twill. On the front left breast is player number "2" also done in yellow on blue tackle twill. On the back is the player name "ENGLISH" done in blue tackle twill on a white nameplate. Below this on back is the player number "2" in blue on white tackle twill. On the inner waistband of the shorts is the "Powers Mfg. Co." manufacturers tag with the shorts size "34" on it. "2" is written on this tag in black marker. On the front right leg of the shorts is "DENVER" done in yellow on blue tackle twill. The uniform shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
