The 2000-2001 NFL season was indeed a magical one for Tom Brady. During this, his rookie campaign, Brady took the helm of the New England Patriots and led them to their first World Championship in franchise history. Brady was named Super Bowl MVP and the Pats had themselves a legend in the making. This "Riddell" helmet has player number "12" stickers on the back with adjacent "NFL" and American Flag stickers. "PATRIOTS" appears on a white decal below the player number. Inside the helmet is player number "12" written in black marker adjacent to the right ear hole with Velcro patches present where radio transmitters were placed. On the clear clips in front is "4 01" stamped indicating month and year of manufacture. There are high hook ups which were worn by Brady in his rookie year. He wore both high and low that year. The chin strap is intact and original. The inner padding is VSR-4. The helmet shows good game-use with sweat staining inside the dome and scuffing on top and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
