These items were originally auctioned off in Leslie Hindman's "Prohibition Era and 20th Century Crime Memorabilia and Ephemera, Featuring Property from Al Capone's Palm Island, Florida Residence." In that sale, these items were offered as "gathered from a variety of different collectors...which reflect the era of the 1920s." Could these have belonged to or have been directly associated with Al Capone himself? It is certainly possible. Included are a pair of iron handcuffs, what appears to be a nickel-plated single-shackle type device, a pair of brass knuckles with tape on the handle, a tasseled pin that reads "CP" and a small funeral banner that reads "In Memoriam, The Policemens Benevolent Association Of Chicago." Items are in EX condition with noticeable wear.
