Although injuries marred his first year in the league, he was named NBA Rookie of the Year, averaging 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game. Ewing enjoyed a successful career; eleven times named a NBA All-Star, once named to the All-NBA First Team, six times a member of the All-NBA Second Team, and named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team three times. He was a member of the original Dream Team at the 1992 Olympic Games, winning a second gold medal. In 1996, he was also given the honor of being named one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history. In the rear collar is the "Gerry Cosby" distributors tag. On the left front tail is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "46" on it. Above is the "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for "New York Knicks" tag. Adjacent is an additional manufacturer embroidered tag with "3" L.B." Across the front is "NEW YORK" in orange on blue tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "33" in the same tackle twill. Across the back is "EWING" in blue tackle twill. On the left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. An additional LOA will be provided.
