Jimmy Walker played nine seasons (1967–1976) in the NBA as a member of the Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, and Kansas City Kings. Walker was a two-time All-Star who scored 11,655 points in his career. He was selected number one overall in the 1967 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons and played in two NBA All-Star games. He averaged 20.8 ppg. in 1969-70, 21.3 in 1971-72, 19.8 in 1973-74, and averaged almost 17 per game over a nine-year career. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturer's wash tag with the jersey size "42" on it. Above this tag is an additional tag, which reads "Griswold Sporting Goods Inc. Distributors." Across the front is "PISTONS" in blue tackle twill with red stitching. Below that and on the back is the player number "24" in red tackle twill with blue stitching. The name on back has been removed but the outline remains. The jersey shows game-use and besides the name on back being removed appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
