The Anderson Packers also known as the Anderson Duffy Packers was a professional basketball team based in Anderson, Indiana, in the 1940s and 1950s. The Packers played in the National Basketball League from 1946 to 1949. The team moved into the National Basketball Association for the 1949-50 season. After that season the team moved to the National Professional Basketball League. In the back collar of the jersey is the “W.O.W.O. Main Auto Supply Sand-Knit” manufacturers tag with a size 40 flag tag attached. Across the front of the jersey is “PACKERS.” Below on the front and on back is the player number “4.” All lettering and numbering is done in blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from David Johnson as well as a LOA from MEARS.
