When the 2007-08 season began, Fisher resumed his role as the Lakers' starting point guard, and provided a veteran influence alongside Kobe Bryant to the relatively young Lakers squad. He contributed a solid season, and played a big role in the 2008 NBA Playoffs. On December 30, 2007 the Lakers wore their throwback “extra small” short shorts to commemorate the 1987-88 Lakers team. On the front tail is the "ADIDAS" manufacturers tag. Attached are four additional manufacturers tags with the jersey size "50","LENGTH +4", “CLIMALITE”, and "2007-2008" on them. Above this is an additional “HARDWOOD CLASSICS” tag with “1987-1988” flag tag. Across the front is "LAKERS." Below that and on the back is the player number "2." Across the back is the player name “FISHER.” All lettering and numbering is done in purple on white tackle twill. On the upper right breast is the “60 Anniversary” patch. On the upper left breast is the embroidered official NBA logo. The jersey is autographed on the front number and rates a 9. On the inside back waistband of the shorts is the “UNILETE” manufacturers tag with a size 38 flag tag. The jersey & shorts show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
