Ford played college basketball at Purdue University before playing briefly for the Memphis Tams in the 1972-73 season, averaging 1.6 points and 1.3 rebounds in nine games played. Currently, Bob Ford is a full time telecaster for Purdue Boilermaker men's basketball games. In the back collar of the shooting shirt is the “Rawlings” manufacturers size 44 tag. Attached to this is another tag which reads “FORD 30.” Across the back is the city name “MEMPHIS” in yellow on green tackle twill. The shooting shirt shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
