Hubert “Geese” Ausbie joined the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team in 1961 following a standout college career at Philander Smith College in Little Rock. For the next twenty-four years, Ausbie played for the Globetrotters in more than 100 countries and became known as the "Clown Prince of Basketball” for his entertaining antics on the basketball court. On the front tail is the "Wilson" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "44" on it. Attached is an additional flag tag "3”X Long." Across the front is "HARLEM" in red on white tackle twill. Below is "GLOBETROTTERS" in yellow tackle twill. On the front and the back are eight stars in red on yellow tackle twill. On the front and back is the player number "35" in white on red tackle twill. Above the player number on back is the player name "AUSBIE" in red on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
