Garnett was the first player to be drafted out of high school in 20 years when the Minnesota Timberwolves called his name in 1995 on draft night. In the following years, players such as Kobe Bryant, Jermaine O’Neal, and Rashard Lewis would also make the jump to the pros straight from high school, albeit with varying degrees of initial success. Versatility is the name of Garnett’s game. He has a remarkable array of skills and is extremely athletic for a big man. Year in and year out, Garnett ranks among the league leaders in rebounds, and his assists totals rivals those of starting point guards on other teams. He is known for having a non-stop motor and being the ultimate teammate. In the back collar is the "REEBOK" manufacturers tag. Under this is an additional manufacturers tags with the jacket size "4XL TALL." Across the front is "WEST" in blue tackle twill. On the front right breast is the player name “GARNETT” embroidered in white and the “TIMBERWOLVES” logo embroidered above. On the front left breast is the embroidered “NBA” logo with “RBK” logo embroidered below. On the left sleeve are four separate “All-Star Game” patches (2005, 2003, 2001, 1998) and a USA flag patch. On the right sleeve are an additional five separate “All-Star Game” patches (2006, 2004, 2002, 2000, 1997). On the back of the jacket is the embroidered “RBK” logo. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Originally obtained from a NBA executive.
