Rare ticket stub from the special memorial held at Yankee Stadium where Lou Gehrig's immortal number “4” was retired forever. The Yankees honored their fallen hero on July 6, 1941 with the dedication of a monument in his honor taking place that day. The original date of the dedication was July 4th, as shown on the stub, but that day's game was rained out. Stub is in at least VG-EX condition with a clean perforation, some edge and corner wear and a few creases throughout.
