From a bottling works in Staten Island owned by George Ruth, this 9" tall bottle is embossed “Staten Island Bottling Company, Baltimore MD, George Ruth's Prop’r Trade Mark Registered.” In the center is an embossed “GR” crest. Below this is embossed “This Bottle Not To Be Sold,” hence the rarity. George Ruth was, of course, the saloon keeper who was the great Babe Ruth’s father. EXMT condition with no cracks, one small chip on the bottom.
