In 1979, Pops was named the league MVP, the NLCS MVP and the World Series MVP. He was inducted into Cooperstown in 1988. On the inner band is the “New Era” manufacturers tag with adjacent size “7-1/4” size flag tag. Player number “8” is written under the brim in black marker. This rare cap shows light game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
