On the inside back collar of the #24 jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers size 44 tag with wash instructions. Below this the embroidered strip tag has been removed. On the left front tail is the "72" embroidered year tag. Across the front is "CHICAGO." Below and on the back is the player number "24." All lettering and numbering is done in blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Cubbie Bear" logo patch. Art Shamsky, Pete LaCock, and Tommy Davis all wore #24 for the Cubs during the 1972 season. On the inside back collar of the Mike Griffin jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturers size 44 tag with wash instructions. Below this is the “50 81 1 44” embroidered strip tag. On the left front tail is the "81" embroidered year tag. Across the front is "CHICAGO." Below and on the back is the player number "50." Across the back is the player name “GRIFFIN.” All lettering and numbering is done in blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Cubbie Bear" logo patch. Both jerseys show game-use and besides the removed strip tag appear to have no alterations of any kind.
