Roger Clemens has been dominating baseball for 20+ years, winning the Cy Young Award seven times (1986, 1987, 1991, 1997, 1998, 2001 and 2004). He amassed over 300 career victories and 4000 career strikeouts. This is an extremely rare historic piece as Clemens wore #12 for only a short period of time as a New York Yankee before switching to #22. On the front left tail of this jersey is the "Russell" manufacturers tag with the jersey size "52" on it along with a series of flag tags attached reading "100% POLYESTER", "2" EXTRA BODY LENGTH", "-1" SLEEVE LENGTH" and "BODY TAPERED". Below that is another tag that reads "ROCKET 99". Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK." On the back is the player number "12." All lettering and numbering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a black "5" patch to honor Joe DiMaggio. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner LOA.
