Within his first two years in the NBA he was selected to the first NBA All-Star Game in 1951. In fact, from 1951 through 1957, he was selected to play in the NBA All-Star game. It was in the NBA where he earned the nickname Harry “The Horse” Gallatin. Gallatin played his entire career as an undersized center at 6’6 and weighing 215 lbs. However, he had more than size and passion; he had tremendous physical strength, and was the epitome of hard work both in college and in the NBA. This Hall of Famer’s durability and constant concentration led him to set an NBA consecutive games played record at the time of 682 games. In the back collar of the jersey is the “Horace Partridge Athletic Goods” manufacturers tag. Below is the “Gallatin” embroidered felt strip tag. On the front inside tail is an additional “Horace Partridge Athletic Goods” manufacturers size 44 tag. Attached below is a “LONG” flag tag. On the front and back is the player number “11” in white tackle twill. There are six red tackle twill stars on front and size more on back surrounding the player number. In the back waistband of the shorts is the “Horace Partridge Athletic Goods” manufacturers size 36 tag. Below is the “Gallatin” embroidered felt strip tag. Two stirrups are also included. The uniform shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
