1973-1974 Stew Johnson San Diego Conquistadors Game-Used Home Jersey

The San Diego Conquistadors (the "Q's" to their loyal fans and sportswriters) were an ABA rarity: an ABA expansion team. Their players for their first season (1972-73) were unprotected players taken from other ABA teams in a special expansion draft. Johnson began in 1973–74 with the ABA’s San Diego Conquistadors, coached by Wilt Chamberlain. On the front right tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturers size 44 tag. Adjacent is an additional “Stanley Andrews Sports Outfitters” distributors tag. In between these two tags is an additional tag “XXL.” Across the front is "SAN DIEGO." Below and on back is the player number "7." Across the back is the player name “JOHNSON.” All lettering and numbering is done in white on red tackle twill. The jersey shows great game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
