The 1958 NFL season culminated in what has come to be known as “The Greatest Game Ever Played.” Played at Yankee Stadium between the Giants and Colts, it was the first ever NFL Championship game to go into sudden death overtime, with the Colts winning 23-17. This binder was Colts HOF head coach Weeb Ewbank’s from that memorable season. Includes letters, stat sheets, playbook, rosters, instructions and handwritten plays. Binder and pages show expected wear from constant use, a great historical lot with insight into one of football’s greatest minds and one of football’s greatest seasons.
