This jersey is tagged 2002 but was worn in 2004 by Palmer. It was customary to hold stock shirts over, even for two seasons. This was the last year of this style shirt before the team changed the design. Our consignor told us that this jersey was worn in training camp 2004 by Carson Palmer and was the very first gamer he wore as a rookie. On the left front tail is the "Reebok" manufacturers tag with the size"48" and "4" L.B." flag tags attached. In the inside back collar is a manufacturer’s strip tag with "02-48." On the front, back, and each shoulder is the player number "9" in black on orange tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "PALMER" in black on orange tackle twill on a white name plate. The jersey has white spandex sides and custom elastic sleeves. On each sleeve below the player number is the "Reebok" embroidered logo and below that is the “BENGALS” logo patch. On the front at the neck is the official "NFL Equipment" logo patch. The jersey shows light game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
