The 2004 season was Alex Rodriguez’ first in pinstripes. During this season, he hit 36 home runs while driving in 106. He had 112 runs scored and 28 stolen bases. He became one of only three players in Major League history to compile at least 35 home runs, 100 runs and 100 RBI in seven consecutive seasons. He also became the youngest player ever to reach the 350 HR mark and the third youngest to reach the 1,000 RBI plateau. This is the game-used baseball that was A-Rods first Yankee Stadium HR as a Yankee. Alex has signed the sweet spot in blue ink rating a 9. On the north panel is “1ST YANKEE STADIUM HOMERUN AS A YANKEE 4-24-04 VS. ARROYO” written in black ink by a NY Yankees official. The baseball shows a few major scuff marks as well as dirt staining throughout. This piece of baseball history is accompanied by a hand-signed LOA from Alex Rodriguez as well as a LOA from JSA.
