When Alex Rodriguez put the pinstripes on for the first time in 2004, he knew how special it was going to be. The numbers he has been able to put up have been staggering, winning two MVP awards thus far with the Bronx Bombers. Closing in on 600 career home runs this season, he can now set his sights on 700 and beyond in the years to come, hopefully adding a championship ring or two to his trophy case along the way. This baseball was the game-used ball that was Alex’s 362nd career home run which surpassed the Yankee Clipper for 60th place all-time. A-Rod has signed the sweet spot in blue ink rating a strong 9. On the south panel is “HOME RUN #362 60TH PLACE ALL-TIME SURPASSING DIMAGGIO 6-22-04 VS. RILEY ORIOLE PARK” written by a NY Yankees official. There is a MLB hologram sticker affixed, numbered “MR 520001.” The baseball shows dirt staining throughout. This piece of baseball history is accompanied by a hand-signed LOA from Alex Rodriguez as well as a LOA from JSA.
