Rare vintage broadside for a July 4, 1879 baseball game between the Diamond Base Ball Club of Boston and the Concord Base Ball Club on the Concord Grounds. Reads "Base Ball not being officially considered an Athletic Sport." Measures 11-3/4” x 14-3/4”, shows some soiling and darkening due to age, EX condition overall some folds and creasing, fantastic piece of early baseball history!
