On the left front tail is the "Wilson" manufacturers “SET 1 1968” tag. Above is a missing manufacturers tag. On the inside back collar is the player name “WARD” embroidered strip tag. Across the front is “CHICAGO” in blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number “8" in blue on white tackle twill. Name on back has been removed. On the left sleeve is the “Illinois Sesquicentennial” patch. The jersey shows game-use and besides alterations mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
