This baseball was presented to our consignor by David Cone himself. OAL Budig baseball signed on the sweet spot “David Cone #36 Perfect Game 7-18-99” with the “99” gone over. On the north panel directly above the sweet spot is “Game Used on 7-18-99” inscribed. On the south panel is “My finest MLB Moment” inscribed. The signature and all inscriptions are done in Cone’s hand, all in blue ink rating an overall 7 with light fading. The ball shows excellent game-use with light scuffing and dirt staining throughout and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
