These shoes come to us from the personal collection of Brian McNamee. As the story goes, Clemens, Pettitte and McNamee went bowling with the loser having to wear these obnoxiously loud bowling shoes the following day during a workout being taped by ESPN. McNamee having lost, did indeed man up. These “Eagle” manufactured size “11” bowling shoes are neon yellow and orange. The right has been signed by Roger Clemens in black marker who added the inscription “MAC You know Nice Pants, Well Nice Shoes! Rocket was Here! Stay Hot! AKA KING PIN.” The signature rates an 8. Pettitte has signed the left shoe with added inscription “Mac Daddy 76 Way to Go!” The signature rates an 8. These marvelous shoes are accompanied by a LOA from Brian McNamee as well as a LOA from JSA.
