Sidney Lowe played collegiate basketball at North Carolina State University. He was the point guard for the Wolfpack's 1983 NCAA National Championship team that was heralded for its Cinderella run under legendary head coach Jim Valvano. Lowe was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the 1st pick of the second round in the 1983 NBA Draft. He played a total of four seasons in the NBA, for five different teams. On the front inside tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer’s size 42 wash instructions tag. On the front left breast is the “Wolfpack" logo patch in red and black embroidery on white tackle twill. Across the back is “N.C. STATE” in white tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the player number “35” in white tackle twill. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. We were told by our consignor that this came from the personal collection of Ranzino Smith (UNC '86). We have been contacted after the printing of our catalog by the person who sold our consignor this item who claims that it was not from the Smith collection.
