After being drafted in the first round by the Pistons, Tripucka proved to be a prolific scorer, but a somewhat weak defensive player. After the 1985-86 season, the Pistons traded Tripucka to the Utah Jazz for Adrian Dantley. On the inside back collar is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag with size "44" on it. Above is the "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Utah Jazz" tag. There are three additional embroidered strip tags which read "2" L.B. L.S.", "86”, and “4.” On the front left breast is the “JAZZ” logo in yellow with white tackle twill. On the right breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. Across the back is the “JAZZ” logo in yellow with white tackle twill. On the inside of the back waistband of the pants is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag with size "36" on it. Adjacent is the "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Utah Jazz" tag. There are three additional embroidered strip tags which read "36 36" IN", “4”, and "86". On the upper right leg is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. The jacket and pants show good wear and there appear to be no alterations of any kind.
