Hall of Famer Dan Issel played basketball for the Kentucky Colonels of the ABA. In his first season, he led the ABA in scoring with a scoring average of 29.9 points per game, and pulled down 13.2 rebounds per game. He was named the ABA Rookie of the Year in 1971, and was selected to the All-ABA Second Team. In 1975, Issel won an ABA title with the Colonels. On the left front tail is the "Powers Mfg. Co." manufacturers tag with the jersey size "48" on it. Across the front is "DENVER" in white on yellow tackle twill. On the front left breast is player number "44" in the same tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "ISSEL" in white tackle twill on a blue nameplate. Below is the player number "44" in white on yellow tackle twill. On the back inside waistband of the shorts is the "Powers Mfg. Co." manufacturers size 40 tag with wash instructions. "44" is written on this tag in black marker. Below is an additional "Powers Mfg. Co." tag with "LONG" on it. On the front right leg is "NUGGETS" in white on yellow tackle twill. The uniform shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
