O. J. Mayo was selected 3rd overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves only to be traded to the Memphis Grizzlies. During his rookie season, Mayo scored 30 or more points seven times. Mayo was the runner-up for the 2008–09 NBA Rookie of the Year Award, finishing second behind Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Adidas" manufacturers tag. Written on this tag in black marker is “HORSE.” Attached are four flag tags "48," "+4 LENGTH," "2008-2009" and "Climalite". Across the front is "MEMPHIS" in two color blue tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "32" in the same tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "MAYO" in light blue tackle twill. Above the name on back is the embroidered "GRIZZLIES" team logo patch. On the left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. On the front neck is the embroidered "GRIZZLIES" logo patch. NBA hologram is on the back of the jersey. On the back inside waistband of the shorts is the "ADIDAS" manufacturers tag. Attached are the size "46" and "CLIMALITE" flag tags. “HORSE” is written on this tag in black marker. On the upper right thigh is the official "NBA" embroidered log. On the left leg is the "GRIZZLIES" team logo patch. NBA hologram is on the front of the shorts. The jersey & shorts show wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from the NBA.
